Mickey Mouse and Wawa would be perfect together

I spent the weekend over at Lake Buena Vista aka Walt Disney World. Because of the economy and stuff we let our annual passes expire last September and it was nice to be back. If you're a Florida resident and you're looking for an inexpensive way to get a taste of Disney, they have an "Epcot After 4:00pm" pass that you can get for around $130 (less for kids). Getting to Epcot after 4pm means you have no shot of getting to see Soarin' or Test Track but you can see all the stuff in World Showcase and do Spaceship Earth and that sort of thing. If you decide to upgrade to a more expensive pass later on you can apply the cost of the EA4 pass to whatever annual pass you want. But I digress, because this blog is all about Wawa in Florida, so you know what's coming next, right?

Wawa in Lake Buena Vista would clean up...there's lots of food around but there's a real dearth of good options as far as convenience stores unless you count a few mobbed 7-Eleven's and Hess Express'. Wawa with the deli...people would be lined up out the door 24x7! So, Wawa Corporate: buy some land along Apopka-Vineland Rd and get busy!

Since there's no Wawa, one of the best Disney World eateries of the bread-and-meat persuasion is The Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. They have enough variety that you could eat there every day and never get bored (kinda like Wawa). For around $5-6 per person, it's hard to beat as a warm, freshly-made meal, especially in that area. They do breakfast too. :)
